Editing Payroll Check. Edit Box Not Available. What To Do Now?




If it created as manual paycheck? If so, you'd need to delete/void and re-create it. 

To delete/void a paycheck:

  1. On the left navigation bar, click on Employees.
  2. Click on Paycheck list under the Run Payroll button.
  3. Select the check you want to void or delete.
  4. Select Yes to confirm.
  5. Click on the I understand that this action cannot be undone. box.
  6. Click on the Void Paycheck or Delete Paycheck button.

However, if it's a direct deposit, I'd suggest contacting us by phone so we can check the payroll status before we make changes in your QuickBooks.
