When the employee reaches the limit, QuickBooks Online Payroll stops accruing hours until the employee takes vacation and the available balance falls below the limit. The error says that you need to change each employee's vacation and sick policy.

Let's try changing the current balance using these steps:
  1. In the navigation bar, click Employees.
  2. Click the name of the employee.
  3. Go to the Employee details tab.
  4. Click the Pencil icon next to Pay.
  5. Click the Pencil icon next to number 3.
  6. Change the current balance for the Vacation and Sick Policy.
